Mission

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., an educational organization, teaches riding, mounted sports, and care of horses and ponies.  It also develops in youth the characteristics of responsibility, moral judgment, leadership, and self-confidence.

With your membership, you get an opportunity to....
- learn and play polocrosse with other children.
- join teams of similar skill levels and compete with other NJ Pony Clubs.
- join in tetrathalon:  riding, swimming, running, and shooting.
- make new friends from all over the country.
- qualify for a once-a-year National competition in dressage, show jumping, eventing, games, tetrathalon, polocrosse, or quiz.
- learn equine skill from some of the best instructors around.
- hunt with the Essex Fox Hounds.
- go to the SHPC summer camp.
